Voice Control language selection issue
I just picked up my 335i coupe with Professional Nav + Bluetooth, which in the Netherlands means I automatically get option 620 = Voice Control. I do not have the voice activation button next to the large menu button in the center console, only the steering wheel voice button. My dealer is checking if this is a change to October build cars because up until now option 620 has always meant both buttons being present. However, the voice control seems to work at least partially so something is present...
I have changed the iDrive language to English instead of Nederlands (default in my car) and the nav bitch speaks American to me, but the Voice Control bitch still speaks Nederlands so the 2 do not seem to be linked in my car. Dumb! Anybody any ideas? My dealer might not be a lot of help because they seem to think nobody ever uses Voice Control. |

Hello,
The dual language is normal. - The voice of the navigation system is on the DVD with the map. - The voice of the "Voice Control" seems to be coded into the control unit. So you must go to the dealer for changing the language. But is there somebody who has change the language with SSS progman at home ? thanks |
