*Official* Bimmerpost photo contest no.80| "Holiday Spirit"

Since DVaystub is too busy, I'll set up this contest. I'm changing the subject though, because well I want to. If anyone has an issue say something and I'll change it back to beautiful women.

Submissions will close on January 8th, 2014.

1. Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Bimmerpost.com rules is welcome.
2. You must be the person that took the photo. Photos taken prior to the start of the contest are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
3. One submission per contest, and you cannot resubmit a photo that you've submitted before in a previous contest.
4. Images must be no larger than 1024 px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is no more than 1024 px for the poll.
5. All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on Bimmerpost).
6. All images must have a title.
7. While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.

Come on guys. Get your entries in before you take the trees down. If I'm the only entry, then we'll declare a fail and the guy that was supposed to run the show will be forced to do it now that finals are over...

Shot this last night, let's see how it does

This fountain in Fort Lauderdale lights up at night and the water dances to the songs being played on loudspeakers. There's a Christmas tree in the plaza as well, and it's all set with the backdrop of my favorite building in Fort Lauderdale, the Las Olas River House condo tower.

Shot with 6D + TS-E 17, slight shift up to get the whole building, and the Fotodiox Wonderpana 145mm slim CPL.

"The Christmas tree" in the center of downtown Reykjavik, Iceland. Every year Norway ships a Christmas tree to Reykjavik as Iceland has very few trees (less than 2% of the country) and none of any size.

A Drunk penguin -- pre santacon in nyc. I really wish I took a camera out with me that day, we had around 25 penguins walking around the lower east side. But alas, I would have likely damaged my gear.

It looks familiar. One of my daughters got me a Saki of the Month club a while back and that looks like one of the selections. I'll hunt for my notes.
