dealership techs and vacuum lines
I purchased my car a few weeks ago, I'm extremely observant and I thought boost in 1st/2nd was weak... then it'd shift to 3rd and pull much harder. Vehicle is stock so I got a cable and started checking things. No codes, good fuel trims, no noticable drivability problems except this and I'm not exactly thrilled with how it idles. Anyway I started poking around and noticed the vac line off the brake tube that runs to the driver side fender to supply vacuum to the exhaust flap solenoid was ripped at the barb on the plastic line. Looks like the dealer went ahead and scraped that up last time they disconnected it to do something. I cut the line and reconnected, now it leaves lights in first like a jack rabbit.
Keep in mind it didn't set any faults, inspect all of those lines connected to the plastic tube. Should be pressure in it at shutdown.
