Anyone considering a very late E92?
Hard to ignore these, one of if not the most beautiful BMWs built IMO. Was out browsing a lot after hours the other night and there was a 2013 AW E92 328xi for $36k with 16k miles. It had every single package available in 2013 - literally - including Msport. Gray leather. Gorgeous car in the flesh, and really hard to ignore, though I would want RWD. 328 would be ok, still 230-240 hp and I would take a pristine 328i over a very very clean 335i E92.
I have not driven one, and I'll concede that the interior of all the F cars is better and more up to date. But it is damn hard to argue with the proportions and sleekness of the E92, compared to the bulbous tall look of the new 2 series. I know some (a lot) of you are coming from E92s, but is anyone else also looking at a very late ('12-'13) barely used CPO E92 as well? |

I had a 2011 335 and I should have kept it. I now find myself looking for a pristine used E92. I was under the assumption that the F30 would be a better car and I would upgrade. I absolutely hate the F30, though. I don't even think the interior is better, as you mentioned. The design might be better, but the quality of materials is less than the e90/92. For this reason, I don't have high hopes for the 2 series.
