Driver side mirror dead - not the fuse.
I tried replacing the fuse but the heated mirror doesn't move, or heat. Passenger mirror works fine.
Would this be a safety warranty item since I can't see out of the mirror properly? Otherwise, what should I check?? |

You just pry between the black trim piece and the back cover very carefully working your way all the way around the mirror and the cover will come off. It has 4 clips on it. You have to do it evenly, not just one place for prying.

The mirror itself comes of easier than the cover. Try popping it off by gently pulling it on one side with multiple fingers so you don't point load the mirror. I have a 2013 and the connector is on the mirror side, not the cover side. Might want to look at OEM parts web site to see how yours is put together.
