Performance Exhaust video inside w/ good video/mic combo

Sony Action Cam AS30V (check it out... 1080hd, NFC, Wifi, mobile app) with an Audio Technica 'lavalier' mic w/ 20' hardwire 3.5mm jack.

Ran mic out my rear center console/pass-through and out the trunk.... clipped it on the license plate and successfully captured good in-car video with that sweet, sweet PE sound.

Stock DP's/secondaries. PTF tuned on E40.

It's nice to hear what the car really sounds like outside rather than in the cabin.

I have a thread on the video/photography page with more details on the camera setup/mount etc.

NO drone!!! From inside you can get a tiny bit of rasp when WOT at certain points. Otherwise... just a lovely, throaty tone.

Definitely worth it and a 'safe' choice.

I think it was around $1200 plus shipping.

I wish I have a external mic me too. I don't have any in-car video since I have my BMW PE. Here is a Gopro video, rear view:

he is on stock downpipes so its ok, once u get aftermarket catless downpipes it will drone? is that correct?
