Shaking Headlight TSB

Does anyone know or have the E90 Shaking Headlights TSB.

All the links that I have tried are broken.
If you can PM it to me or post the content on this thread.
Out of warranty so need to do this myself.

Thanks in advance.

Are your headlights physically loose or do you notice the angle of the beam in different positions now and again?

Angel is good.
Just shake when I go over bumps.
If I need tighten them then so be it.
But I doubt it.
like why would they be loose....

I was hoping to know what BMW tab says on how to fix them at take that avenue.

But thanks for the reply.

Most likely the pivot control arm that controls the leveling is broken inside your headlight.

what he said. there are a few threads about this but essentially youll need to take the wheel off, remove the wheel well liner (because that little window isnt enough), and open the cap in the back of the light from there, there is a little white rod. one with a ball and one with a knuckle that needs reattached.

mine pull apart on just about every pot hole and now my highbeam gets stuck. IMHO BMW did a shitty job on these lights

MIne was much easier . . there is a wire clamp that holds the bulb in place . . it was loose .. I bent it some so it wouldnt come loose again . . no more shaky headlight on the rough roads.

Now I know whet to look for, any chance a few Pic of it out there.

I am planning this on jan 30th weekend.
Take bumper off.
Take head lights off.
And give it a shot, will get pictures.

PS, taking the bumper off, cause most people have mentioned, to tighten everything.

If anyone has pics, I would greatly appreciate it.
Possibly do my first DYI as a thank you to you all.

if its the passenger side just open the hood . . remove the cover behind the headlight bulbs and see if the bulb clamp is holding the bulb tightly .. dont go to all that trouble before looking at the simple stuff first.

It is 2007 335i Sedan.
I don't think getting the cover of the back of the lights is as easy as coupes.

I have replaced my turn signal bulbs once and I must admit, taking the headlight cover off without removing the wheel well liner is not easy by anyone.
Small hands or not.
