Leatherette Door Fading After Lexol Vinylex Application

After I applied Lexol Vinylex on my doors, only the driver side doors began to dull and fade. It is smooth when you run your fingers outside the red circled area but dull/slighly sticky when you get in the red circled area. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance!

And, the one little dark black spot inside the circle nearest the window is still "smooth." The lightly faded area in the circle is what I am talking about. This is weird. I feel like this is "growing" but I am unsure.

That's a good point. This is a used car and the previous owner may have rested his hand on there and after applying the Vinylex I just started to notice. What's weird is that the Vinylex does not absorb into the leatherette and it remains dull looking while the other parts have a hint of shine.

Thanks! I have never seen that product before. Looks pretty cool. The only concern I have is that if I apply it to the area, is there a chance that it would be darker than the surrounding area? And, if applied to the whole door, is there a chance it could be darker than the whole interior?

A mixture of 1:8 (woolite/water) works great for cleaning interior vinyl and leather. Then use your favorite vinyl and leather conditioner. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant.

The interior is painted with a rubberized paint that's pretty fragile. Many vinyl chemicals actually eat that paint through. Wash it with warm water asap to remove the chemical and hope that it's not going to get worse.
