Split Armrest

This was on my mind for a while, hope someone can shed some light on this. Where is the ability and option for a single center armrest or the dual-split center armrest?

I'm told by my dealer here in Germany that the US spec E90 gets the non-spli (plain) arm rest while the German/Euro spec gets the split armrest.

My first mod will be replacing the armrest and getting euro side mirrors with the convex lens.

In South Africa all cars (except the 330i) comes with the single amrest as standard. The split armrest cost R800 (about $120)

The difference is that the split armrest can move forward and back as you like. I personally think it's a waste and don't really care. As long as there is an armrest, i am happy!!

You can only slide the driver's side foward and backward btw.

Let us know how you did with the split-armrest. I would be interested with that mod.

I just placed my order for my 330i and looks like the delivery date is not until end of October.. talk about waiting.. :mad:

supply and demand.. I guess BMW is not turning them out fast enough.
