How to get 30ff

Is there a way I can get the code without actually having a boost leak? I was getting it intermittently but it hasn't came back. I wanna take my car in for wastegate rattle + boost leak so they can possibly throw in new turbos. I'm going for other reasons as well. Just wanted to know if I can speed up the process lol

Unplug the the black hoses on the left side of the engine that go to the two black tanks. Then go out and try to get into boost. It will trigger the half engine icon. Restart the car and do it one more time, then you can put the hoses back on the nozzles of the tanks.

Edit: my technical jargon is not very good

I was told to do this before you made your appointment, because they can see when it occurred. My SA and tech are badasses and hooked me up.

You could create a boost leak by loosening the couplers on your FMIC... Just make sure it's not so lose it falls off during a couple pulls

They won't give you new turbos because of 30FF. They will run tests on your turbos to determine their condition. They will most likely blame your 30FF on your oem vacuum lines, and recommend relacing them for $300.

First do a log and see if you are not hitting target. If you are hitting boost target but still getting the 30FF adjust Futureuse A to 1 or 2 ( im assuming you have a jb4)
