HELP: Speed Limit Info Option

Does anybody know what the heck the $350 CAD so-called "8TH speed limit info" option entails? Can anyone confirm my understanding that it is included for free if one opts for the premium pkg on the M235i?

OK here's the scoop - this option comes standard w premium pkg (or $350 w/o) and informs u on the car's nav display panel what the speed limit of the road is you're travelling on - sounds kinda neat to me.
