JB4 and Accessport for Single Turbo (new member)

Hey guys just to let you know i am 100% new in the bmw world, im coming from the Subaru scene..Selling my STI for a 335i n54 6mt and plan on the single turbo conversion.

Now my questions is, i want to use the accessport to tune the car, im familar with that product and i know the quality is great, but it doesnt support launch or 2 step....Is it possible to use the jb4 just for the 2step function while i have the accessport at the same time??

I hope this wasnt posted before i looked and have found nothing. And if anyone is willing to convince me to go a different route please share any info i really appriciate it!

My advice would be to use the AP for tuning and a WOT box for 2-step and NLS.

im sure you can add jb4/procede for 2-step ability. I would email terry @ Burgertuning or shiv @ vishnu and ask how that would work. Im not sure how it would be installed soley for the purpose of a 2-step. also not sure how many run a WOT box just for 2-step. I dont think many do.

JB4 tuner w/ 2 step and load the BMS backend flash with the $170 bavarian technic cable.

JB4 w/ dci intake $600
Catless Downpipe $320
BT cable (to load flash) $170

That alone will get you near 400whp on pump gas and well over 400 on e85 (with upgraded fuel pump). I have this setup on my car and its fast. Feels a lot faster than the 340whp evo I used to have. When summer gets here I'll need to upgrade my intercooler though..

I can't imagine a 400whp STI having much low end torque. A big single on the N54 is making pretty good low end power though. That twin scroll has a nice torque curve for a big single.

What do you mean? I run a 20g turbo plus meth, perfect for the street. The low end is nasty and great topend for that size turbo. If my motor was built id be close to 500. I planned on a built motor top to bottom but they just arent reliable over 500whp so i decided to change platforms

Have a dyno sheet of your 400whp pull? I know my evo had quite a bit of lag on the low end which is common on big turbo 4 cylinders.

Going from a sti to 335 is like being in a different world. The 335 is more tamed and comfortable but can be fast also. The sti will feel faster because it is more raw even if both cars have the same amount of power.
