One word

Procede.

Winner 335i

In this car class, there is no equal value like a procede 335i.

Two things I took with me from that article:

1) The fenders on the g37 are "flamboyant"
2) If journalists can plug an RFT for $4, why cant you?

I looked at both but after seeing the G37s I didn't even test drive it. To me the interior is just ugly!

would be a comparison if they g37s was a lot cheaper than the 335i. but now that both cars are about neck and neck in pricing, that alone should give you an easy decision between the 2.

Uh, no. They were comparing a loaded G37 and a light optioned 335i. Comparably equipped, the G will be at leat $5K cheaper. In the real world, you can get a G37 about $8k cheaper.

I liked this line - "...BMW forms an exclusive alliance with the pavement". Nuff said.

Sounded like a wash to me if not leaning towards the infiniti simply due to cost.

"Thanks to BMW's fanatical pursuit of driving excellence, not to mention increased pressure from the likes of Infiniti, the 335i has a death grip on Automobile Magazine's back-road crown."

Yeah... G37 just looks too rounded...
I bet it'd be a monster through with a turbo or supercharger kit.

the only thing in that G37 that's worth looking at, and i think is superior, is their Navi/backup camera.

i'd take that, and put it on the 335

That was a watered down eval if you ask me.

Much of the prose was spent on the scenery of...hills and shit. Aside from some descriptive adjectives here and there and no direct comparison from a statistical perspective between the two cars, the only mention of any capacitance...3.7 liter in the Infinity was it. I didn't see or recognize any baselines for comparison. (Oh, wait...he did mention 'creamy' a couple of times.) WTF!

I'm not quite sure what that article was trying to say other than showing us some great Valley territory to go rip it up in.

If that's my take-away...I'm cool with that.
