what would your dream job be?
Looks like the e90 is a dream car for some of us (at least for me). But what is a dream job for us e90 owner. Yesterday, I was sitting at work and I got depressed and I said out loud "This job aint cutting it for me" and my coworkers laugh at it (some agreed that they would rather be doing something else too). Do I really like my job, probably not and it is just a way to support myself. I have been working in the IT field for 8+ years. My dream job is to make a few trade on the stock market and call it a day.

My dream job would be sitting around and doing nothing, while earning a living by collecting dividends and interest from invested principal. Yes sir, that's the American way--making your money work for you!
Excuse me while I keep dreaming... |

I am in IT consulting and I am pretty happy. My main dream right now is make some big $$$ and try to retire as soon as possible [I am 24 right now and I like to plan]. Then, do some travelling.

I like sharp's idea about the ROTH IRA because the money you put in it is already tax deducted so when you take it out, you don't suffer the tax. Plus, 10 -15 years from now, I think tax will increase so it is better to deduct tax now then later (at least that is what i have been told). So that is the advantage of the ROTH. |

I am no super model, but from looking at it from the outside, I think it is a very demanding job and you have to work with some of the most arrogants designers. Plus, you have to take a lot of sh*t from designers if they think you gain some weight.

I always wanted to open up a bar/restaurant/nightclub. One of my hobbies is saltwater fish, so I'd like the nightclub to be one giant aquarium with acrylic walls with swimming sharks and fish and corals and all that stuff!
Yeah, if I had a hundred million dollars, I'd probably do that. Of course, you'd probably expect to pay $80.00 for a steak, and $15.00 for a rum and coke! |

As per the definition of job, "doing nothing" would be invalid. That would be considered being unemployed and thus isn't germane for this question.
Obviously, not having to work (while being rich) would be everybody's best priority. But, if I was forced to maintain a job (even billionaires have to in order to maintain their ridiculously high cost of living), I'd like to be a movie writer/director/cinematographer/score-writer. Then form my own production company. Become chairman of the company. Become insanely rich. Then travel the world in a sleigh pulled by reindeers while my company makes me money. |
