Interesting! One of my friends sold his Maserati coupe for a DB9 because the Maserati was built like crap

well i've never driven a maserati other than the QP but i can't even fathom how it can be any worse than the AM. i've never driven a single car built worse than that thing... my very first car, a 1995 Honda Prelude... left that thing in the dust as far as build quality.

my dad has an aston v8 vantage and whoever said that the build quality is crap is an idiot. it is a hand built car with a hand stitched interior!!! and maseratis are the equivalent to a boxter.......its a poor mans ferrari

I love both cars, but would probably take the Maserati over the Aston, because of the build quality issue. |

been kicking around an Aston Vantage, Audi R8 or Maserati...and the Maserati (although beautiful) is out because it is a tourer, much bigger and heavier than the Aston or R8......those cars (Aston and Maserati) are totally different beast....although price range is comparable they are very different...if you've seen the new Maserati person next to the Aston you would know what I'm talking about...the Maserati is MUCH bigger..

DBS if I hit the lottery.
As far as build quality is concerned, I would buy a mechanic to work in my new garage. If I'm hitting the lottery, I may as well be prepared. |

R8 is about an 18 month wait. Aston is more available than the Mas GT.
As for quality...well we're in a forum plagued by faulty fuel pumps, peeling interiors and wonky iDrives....so I'm not sure where the bar is set for quality. If quality were by biggest concern for this type of automobile...I'd be at the Lexus dealer. |
