When I buy or lease it will be with ONE of two colors:

Hope the cost is not to much more, or heaven forbid, nothing at all!!!

Those colors are not available for the m235i currently. Having seen your other posts and that your dealer told you you could get it in orange, I would confirm this with BMW, as I've seen dealers say this to other people, only to find out late in the order process that it can't be done. Don't wanna get your hopes up, but I'm rooting for you. The orange is a nice color.

I'd go Valencia if it was an option but it's not. The m235i is not available in it even through special request or individual but if you can get it go for it

No individual colors for the 2 series. It has been confirmed multiple times.

Maybe the dealer got confused with the 228 or 220 Configurator. VO is available for those 2 models!

Anything can be had for the right price, but it'll be really steep and probably not worth it. But if that's what you really want and you're willing to pay the price, go for it.

You'd be better off buying the car in white and having it vinyl wrapped in whatever color you want. Cheaper than trying to talk BMW into painting a car that's not available through Individual and better for resale.

Not sure on that? If you got a factory painted special colour that had mass appeal (carbon black springs to mind) then it would be a rarity and demand a premium

White, black and silver are proven to resell the fastest. Unique colors can appeal to certain buyers, things like Laguna Seca or Phoenix, but they really only help you find the right buyer, they don't necessarily add any money. Chances are that if it were white, it would have still sold faster, you just might make one lucky used car buyer happy with an odd ball color, it won't make you rich.

Add in that it's likely to be $6k+ to get a car not available through Individual painted a production color, does it still make any sense? At least with a wrap you pay half that and can always revert it to what ever color it is underneath.

Finally, the 4er IS available through Individual, so if you really want an orange BMW coupe with an N55, that would likely be your best option, at least in terms of price. Or screw price, get an M4 in orange, albeit Sakhir Orange, a stock color.

Not true, in the case of the 2er, the factory (sorry forget the name) does not accommodate individual colors. It doesn't matter if you offer BMW a million dollars, they can't just move production to a different facility that allows individual paint orders.

Dackel has mentioned that Leipzig doesn't do individual colors (not sure if they won't or can't)

Leipzig is the primary assembly plant for the X1 and the 2 series. They also make 3 series, so apparently Rosslyn, Munich or Regensburg must do the individual 3's

M235 would look fantastic in VO, not sure why they decided to offer it only on the 228.
