I was pleasently surprised about the Astros game last night...of course we won our season opener last year against the Rangers too. Fingers crossed. lol

Angel fan here...off to a slow start. in need of some pitching, it hurt us last year too. pretty much got blown out of the first series. i went to opening day and thought we had the W as trout homered on his first at bat of the season. until our pitching gave the game away. I hope trout stays hungry knowing he has all this money coming his way. he should have got that mvp last year so i wanna see it this year.

you're about 4 miles south of me lol.

I've already bought my tickets to attend a Sox game at Fenway when we are over there in July.

Really looking forward to another good year and can't wait to get to my first ever MLB game!

another 4 hits by the Astros today.....

baseball is my favorite sport, but the Astros have literally zapped any baseball I had left in me about 3 years ago....

I know how you feel, especially during the real lean times with the Rangers. But I think it's even worse when you're 1 strike away (thanks Neftali Feliz) or 1 defensive play (thanks Nelson Cruz) from your first in franchise history World Series Championship. Still nowhere near over that one...

And although their offense has been really anemic so far this year, Go Rangers!

Terrible. LOL. Sorry partna, but that's just terrible.

Money isn't everything, but I read the Houston Astros have the LOWEST payroll in the ENTIRE MLB at just $45 million. On the flip side, the Rangers have a payroll of over $133 million (3X that of the Astros).

When your team doesn't spend and wants to rebuild, that's what happens. But again, money isn't everything. Just look at the Oakland A's in the past several years or on the other end of the spectrum with the Yankees.

Hopefully the Angels can take another game from the Yankees today. Trout aleady hit one out. He was due since last night he went 0-4. Second pitch was gone...HR hitting park.
