Here is my performance delivery when i bought a 135i. My friend whom I took with me wrote an article that was posted in Boston Bimmer
It was a great experience and learned a lot about the car. Safety and how to's. Got a tour of the factory which was nice to see how meticulous they are at building the cars. Definitely worth it. The only draw back is if you can't drive it home you have to pay to have it shipped. I drove mine home. Helped with the break in period.

Here is a little more of my experience. Not the greatest quality but it gives the experience of what you get to do

OK, now you are just teasing me! Does the accompanying person get to drive as well? I'm thinking of bringing my daughter who is 21. Will they allow a 21 year old to drive? I think rental car companies require age 25 so I'm not sure how BMW looks at age.

Yes my friend got to drive. They do 2 sessions of each and you switch. I don't think they care about age so long as you have a license. I don't even remember if they checked our licenses.
You get free hotel stay, free breakfast and lunch. It's a lot of fun. They pick you up at the airport in a BMW just don't forget to tell the hotel your there for BMW otherwise they'll send the hotel bus. |

I did PCD nine years ago, but it doesn't seem like it's changed appreciably, so here's my write-up:

Does anyone know if PCD deliveries require some action while the car is still in Germany? I only ask because I may want to change my delivery to PCD (my car is not in production until week 19) and I would hate for it to delay production. How about actual delivery dates? Is that something I would set up with my CA now?

That's not an issue though as long as you weren't charged for it! You'll have a blast I'm sure. |

Just remember though, if you're trading in a car you have to turn it in at the dealer and then arrange for your own transportation to Greenville. That's a major problem for me

It should be easy and cheap enough to do a one way car rental from Charlotte airport to the one in s.c. I would think u can find under a hundred bucks.
