Just use the K&N filter cleaner kit.
-Spray the cone filters with the cleaner (red stuff) -Let it sit for a little bit -Fill a bucket up with warm water and dunk the filters in the water one at a time, spinning/oscillating them in the water until all the red stuff is off. -Once dry, spray on the conditioner, let sit for a little, then re-install. |

It’s very straight forward, don’t over think it. Just requires K&N filter cleaner and conditioner.
Tip: use a hairdryer on “cool” or ambient air setting and stick it in the filter coupling element. The filter is bottom heavy enough that it’ll support the hair dryer hanging in it. It helps to dry it out far more quickly; mine were bone dry in a few hours. Obviously, don’t use high heat or you could melt something.
