It's easy. Just remove the Procede, install a JB4 and set it to map 5 and your GTG. That's all.

Nice work, do you know what are normal numbers on that dyno for a FBO N54? No doubt the FMIC should yield some extra power!

Advan's dyno generally reads closer to 300 for guys running FBO and E85?

Does she run any different on ethanol? (idle fine etc?)

Is that true?

Is the Jb4 now better than the procede?

Very nice can't wait to see dyno chart after the stett.

Can you list what your other mods are? Or is it in another thread that I've missed?

Nice!
What are your mods and what tune are you running?
Your power curve looks a little bumpy, there's a few spikes in it.

With a jb4, and the e85 back end flash with downpipes, intercooler should be around the 285ish mark. So you could probably squeeze a bit more with the right flash.

Mod list by order

- cf wing
- jb4
- stett intake
- stett charge pipe and tial bov
- bmw performance exhaust
- vrsf catless dump pipes
- BCBR coilovers

dont know if jb4 is better than procede but i have the jb4 and map5 is pretty good if you want to run e85. i wouldnt recommend using it as a daily though as i heard it is corrosive towards anything that isnt metal. unless you have metal fuel line and injectors.

i think the spikes are from the e85 and 98ron not mixing evenly. that was the 3rd run since i put it on map 5. i think i could have gotten a bit more with a 4th and 5th run when the jb4 adapts to the higher octane

oh, the tuner said that the afr graph doesnt look so healthy but there was an 2014 m5 that ran last and it has the same curve as mine. can someone please tell me that its normal for our cars to run a bit lean. maybe due to tougher european emission standards?

Well i just had a real blonde moment lol. I couldnt figure out how with fbo and e85 you were only making 273whp and why no one else was questioning it. Finally just realized that its 273kw lol

AF looks OK for the Proceed, COBB will look a lot better.
Power is down and falls off badly. I would say it was pulled down to hard on the dyno, the car should ride up on the rollers and rest on the front chocks to get a true/best result.

so you're saying it should sit on one roller? cause the rear wheels were in between two rollers

All operators are different and do there thing in a different way, So i would not point the finger.

BUT yes 100% the rear wheels should ride up on the front set of rollers, there are some cars that cant do this but this is through lack of power or torque to pull itself up onto the front rollers in this case you do what you can to get the best CONTESTANT result.

Dyno's can be a pain to operate sometimes, as your trying to manage wheel spin, air temperature, oil temperature, water temperature, tyre temperature,
operate the keyboard, drive the car and hand controller, operate the laptop, and read three screens all at the same time, on top of this its about 50deg in the car and exhaust noise is 110+DB.
Well this is the case when tuning a hi-powered 400+kw atw monster and all this with out blowing up a $40,000 engine

Just find a dyno shop that actually does some tuning as chances are they know what they are doing.

If you want to have a shop run up your car but are worried about there ability have them show you some dyno sheets and explain to you what it all means,
a good graph should fill the page and be easy to understand.
