07 E90 335i Replacement

My current car is a 6MT with all options less navigation. I really think it looks clean without the NAV and alum trim - Tiag with Black Dakota. Now that she has over 100k I have been looking for a replacement in the next 6-9months.
.
.
SO far the M235i looks like it is a strong contender although the 435i and even the 435i GC or another 335i with M-sport are all compelling.
.
With the ZF Auto so good -- I will probably going in that direction.
.
.
Suggestions for a 50K ish contender?????

The Porsche Macan is even in my view - giving you a point of reference but if I choose today -- a 435i GC M-Sport just may get the nod.

imho there aren't any good cars made today due to cost cutting. An Acura MDX is 57k and the rear suspension is all stamped steel, as are the suspensions of F series BMW 3's. Drive what you have into the ground and hope something improves over the next 5-10 yrs. You're giving up a well-made car for one that is not as well made, but with more gadgets.

Have you driven a car with electric power steering and compared it to yours?

True dat. Newer doesn't always mean better as overall feel means more to a Driver than just speed and gadgetry. Do drive a newer one and see as John suggests. 100k is nothing on these cars.

I agree with all these points. Cars that are currently being made are becoming appliances that get you from one place to the next. I would stick with your current car.

I like the 235. I am still not feeling the 435. I remember when the E92 came out and I thought it was dead sexy. Still do. I see the 435 and just dont feel the same. I have to see what the LCI version will look like but I really dont covet one like I did the E92. If I had to pick something I would probably rock a 235 or dare I say....RS3. Shudder.
