Facelift M5

I've heard about it. I tried to look up pre/post pictures of the M5 last night to see the difference and I didn't really notice any huge change between the pictures I saw. The pictures could of been mis-labeled so if anyone has a good before and after shot of the M5 they could post up and maybe make a few notes on the changes I'd be much obliged.

The only exterior difference that i know of are the new rear lights (they have new style "spirals" inside - especially noticeable when lights are switched on). There are also a few minor changes inside like new door handles - you won't actually notice them unless you've driven (ot at least sat in) both versions of the car.

Other than that, the ordinary 5-series has got a new transmission and front bumper, but these are unchanged on the M5...

I want your car...now. Just sat in a demo S5 (meteor gray with red/CF interior ). Nice car, but was kinda not used to the stick; couldn't locate 2nd and 4th very well.

Anyways, back to the topic, the only differences include headlights (clear bulbs, LED gold "eye brow"), taillights (rising sun-styled LED bars), and different interior. Other than that it's more of the same goodness.

and I believe the location of the amber side markers has also changed. But I may be wrong on that.

I actually quite like the 5. I used to have a 530i and it was a great car. My only gripe with the new look is the LED turn signals which now flash red instead of amber. I'm still not used to seeing a clear turn signal flash red, I don't know why.

If it really looked like that.. then you would never see one and live to tell how bad you thought it was.

Face-go-esplode.

You should hang yourself if you think the 5 series does not look gorgeous.

Please just do all of us the favor.
