Need new tunes
Calling all gym rats and/or music lovers
I'm in serious need of some new ideas for workout music. The current stuff is getting stale, I need to mix it up a bit. Any genre works, but must be up-tempo. Anyone have any favorite tunes the listen to while they lift / run / whatever?

Hey Turbofan, if you have an Ipod, go to Itunes.
In ITunes, in the upper left there's a small window for Itunes Store. Click on Music, then click on Nike Sport Music. You'll find quite a few playlists in there to workout from. It really depends on your genre of music you like. Also you can google the same thing. http://www.google.com/search?q=nike%...ient=firefox-a I've done the same with some pretty good results.

how hardcore do you want to get? this is a bit tough to answer without knowing your prefs. my nano is loaded with killswitch engage, in flames, atreyu, trivium, and protest the hero. its pretty aggressive. is that the kinda stuff you are looking for, because i'll give you some good track names if so.

anything goes. I like almost everything. If I don't like it, at least I tried something new!

LOVE listening to hardcore/metal/hardrock in the gym. It gets me seriously hyped. I listen to Atreyu, A7X, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium, Still Remains, Shadows Fall, Silent Civilian (GREAT!), and a few more.
Otherwise, club/house music works well for keeping a rythym, but doesn't really get me hyped. |
