Guys:

Once again a piece of plastic on i95 came off a truck and hit my bumper. Damage is clearly minor but enough to piss me off.

The car is actually at the body shop now getting the plastic fixed with bondo before having that small area resprayed and blended.

Am I insane of just a dedicated car guy who is a bit of a perfectionist?? My girlfriend claims that spending money to repair something so small is irresponsible. I disagree.

Are you guys nuts about scratches and dings etc??

I am the same way too... I like my cars to look tip top... But thats with everything, house, clothes, work and wife too lol...

I naturally obsess over these types of things when my car is new, but once it has a few years on it, it takes a bigger blemish for me to care.
