Lovely sunny day and I am sitting in the i8 at last. Worth going to have a look with the M3 and M4 sitting along side.
The i8 must be one of the stars of the show with a lot of the public still thinking it is a prototype!

There's SO being sexy. That color really has grown on me.

I had given up on SO, then I see photos like these and the Istanbul thread and I am back to considering it!

I guess it really comes down to having a unique exterior or interior (SO on the outside or inside), can't have them both as I don't think they match well.

Yea i said the same thing as well. Steering wheel is on the wrong side. Must be some prototype or these pictures are flipped.

I know I said it b4 but what a shame bmw creates the most spectacular car on the roads today and gives it an interior filled with plastics you wouldnt find in a 10k skoda. Those 2 displays, the plastics around the startstop button, the idrive and the 80's style cassete player climate controls... its like dating angelina jolie and finding out she has vaginal warts

I'd love to see the i8 in some 'normal' exterior color and 'normal 'performance wheels. I think that would make it look so much more aggressive and less futuristic. I know its supposed to be innovation of the future but it needs a tone-down with the colors.
