New to the forum need some help with mods!
Hey everyone! I've owned my 328xi for about a year now and I was looking for some wheels to get for it! As well as what size I should get them in. My price range is about $1000 (excluding tires), any help at all would be appreciated .
Oh and any mods that would make my car faster that you could recommend me that would be sweet to. Thanks! Last edited by ARosee90; 06-11-2014 at 02:12 AM.. |

Trust me don't do engine mods cars a slow car. Just focus on wheels and keep up with maintenance for now. For 1k I mean 500-800 would be brand new tires itself. I would check craigslist for used setup or here at classifieds.

I got avant gardes for under $1000 from Sonic Tuning. As to what size its just a matter of what look you want. Also if you post this in the tire and wheels section someone should help you fairly quickly.

A lot of people on here like the VMR VB3 and VMR V710. Given that you have the xi suspension, I would only go 18'', 19'' will look bad on stock height. A set of 18'' VMR VB3/V710s can be had new for around $800. Great looking wheels.

Your question about wheels has many answers. In order to narrow down your selection, you will want to consider what you are looking for in a wheel. There are literally 1000's of different styles out there.
Do you want something light weight? Forged Monoblock? Do you want a deep-dish look? Concave look? Aggressive fitment or standard fitment? Color? etc etc.. Are you going to lower the car as well? I'd suggest looking for 18 or 19" wheels with 8-9" wide in the front and 9-10" wide in the back. There are several threads on various forums with many pictures of E9x cars with wheels on them.
