Dinan software released. CDN price?
As per this thread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99843 What do you think Canadian dealers will charge? Dollar is below par this week. I think it could go either way so long as the BOC doesn't keep dropping rates. My guess is that Canadian will get bent over for an extra $500.

Interesting. Been following the news on this for a while.
Do all BMW dealers offer Dinan products or is it only certain ones?

So the Calgary dealer won't get the software until after Christmas. Price TBA. haha. I don't understand why software, which can be downloaded, takes longer in Canada. Unless of course there is a new special tool that needs to be released.

I thought BMW discontinued their exclusive relationship with Dinan and now carry their own BMW-branded aftermarket parts. So I would not expect BMW dealers here to have any.

I just think due to demand being low in Cdn right now we get the product is say the second release. I'd be pissed if it was $500 more. Come on, the dollar is at par. They should just make it the same. I am sure it is negotiable. Colin at BMW Calgary is a nice guy, see if he work something out. YOu can always come up to E-town. |

Wait a little may not be a bad thing. It's winter now and you can't drive fast anyways. Let them get the bugs out first.

From the numbers the Dinan puts our strong power with a pretty decent bump across the board on torque.
For those who care about the warranty it is a good option. I agree the $$ is high, but there are cheaper options, just no warranty. That is just the way it is. |
