Are there videos or reviews where they tested 0 to 60mph result for xDrive28i? AFAIK, only US/Canada X1 have this 241 horsepower engine.

It’s 245hp in the US so that would be possible.

xDrive28i (M Sport) AWD 8A 5.4 sec 14.1 sec @ 99 mph Car and Driver
xDrive28i (M Sport) AWD 8A 5.6 sec 14.3 sec @ 97.8 mph Motor Trend

Any video of that i still dont think its a possible 5.4..thats more than half a second off the official stat

Doesn't the X1 come with a 7 speed Dual Clutch? not an 8 speed auto?

BMW USA official specs say 241 horses? or did BMW bump up the horsepower by 4 extra horses in the middle of the model year? :(

thanks for the 0-60 times... I just read those 5.4 and 5.6 results on Car and Driver and Motor Trend as well.

I think you're right. I do remember seeing some guy's video showing 5.5 seconds, but only in lunch mode which only the M Sport models get. I can't seem to find my YouTube viewing history , but the again, there are literally dozens if not hundreds of videos on the new X1 within the last several months.

any chance you remember the name of that YouTube video showing 5.5 seconds? Thank you!

My bad it’s 245ps which = 241hp.

There is video of the 23i which official figures say 7.1s but as tested it did 6.44s so over half second quicker.

It's not like BMW hasn't underrated their official figures before.

Ha, now I've.gone back to try and find the video. There was a guy in Msport 28i with a vbox I think, and he did a few runs and got 5.5 on it. He held down the boost function. But I'm having a time to try and find it again. I'm not getting it though to constantly hit 5.5 0 to 60.

Thanks! Your reply gave me an idea.

I searched for "xDrive28i 0-60mph" videos within the last month... success!

The Canadian guy did indeed get 5.4 seconds. :happyanim:

(start at 1:02 of the video)

That is interesting ,now i have to get racebox to check the 30e (the phev) i know its around 5.6 official stat but i have done only one start and not the best place of doing it .
I am kind of impressed with the stats it would be interesing to get other data like 0-100km/h which is not 60mph but 62 ,0-130km/h and 100-200 km/h just for the pure interest.

But still 5.4 is a really good time.
