So, I’ll be testing this out to see if it sturdy enough. I’m using the second plastic ring plus 2 of the StickySleaves one on top of each other.

Right now it’s in there pretty snug! Believe it is very stable at the base. However, Will see how it works on a long drive?

Only issue is my phone is relatively thin and the actual phone holder part is wider. Think I’ll need a slightly thicker case or something so it’s a tighter fit.

If anyone has experience with this, would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Will update later!

No experience but looks good.

That cupholder would be perfect holder, if not for that stupid “design” opening in the back.

One quick stab on the throttle and the phone flies out.

I've had a couple of these, and like the design: https://a.co/d/0h6brAdC

I gave it away and picked up a proclip.

My 2011 E88 does not have nav. I use my phone's maps app. I bought a cupfone and found that in addition to loosing a cupholder having to look down to see the screen was distracting. Also had trouble trying to get if firmly enough into the cupholder to eliminate shaking.

Bought a proclip and am VERY happy with it . rock solid and phone is at dashboard height.

does the ProClip cover an A/C vent? Pics?

Ya, partially covers one of the vents. Maybe 50%.
I don't find it to be an issue, given how sturdy and well located it is... YMMV.

From the pic you can see that while it is in front of part of the vent, there is space between it and the vent, all the vent controls are accessible and function. it may re-direct part of the airflow but in my opinion does not block it. I am very happy with my proclip phone holder
