LH drive keys for a RH drive car!
My UK car RH drive was doing the same unlocking when approaching from the left not from the right, when set to unlock all doors, the dealer found the issue that BMW had programmed the keys for a LH drive vehicle whilst delivering RH drive vehicle. Warranty work return with both keys reprogrammed now unlocks as you walk up to the RH drivers door.
