So, what's this thing really capable of without touching the motor?

High 8's @ 155-160mph? I'm assuming it's being held back considerably in the lower gears to be able to get off the line so well.

No idea, but modifications on turbocharged vehicles yield good results, but I'm not sure how much GM maxed out on this vehicle. I hear they are coming out with another Z06 variant, which is scheduled to be unveiled to the public on the 17th of this month, and then folks are still anticipating the release of a Zora hybrid AWD model. Not sure what's going to happen.

The ZR1 is a great hypercar out of the box. The turbos muffle the engine and exhaust note some, but it makes up for it by being an extra powerful machine.
