They still sell the cartridges at Costco and I replace my blade maybe once every 2 months?

I tried the Gillette Fusion and later models but they went too far. This model is perfect and the vibration really does make it an easier shave.

(Yeah yeah dildo jokes are coming )
Ha! FWIW I occasionally use a disposable. Like during the winter when it's 65 degrees in the bathroom.

On a related note, has anyone found a decent shaving cream can warmer? I tried some drug store cheapie thing and it didn't really work after the first couple uses... But damn it gave me a taste of what it's like to have warm shave gel in the morning.

have you ever had cold-ass body wash on your loofah hit you in the morning when you're barely awake?

lol good taste. I am 73 and through life I mostly used an electric shaver. Used a double edge off and on and the cheapo disposable ones.

Then about 2 years ago I switched and settled on the Merkur and the Feather Blades. Got tired of it and am back mostly to the electric and actually the Bic disposables are pretty good.

I only got 2 good shaves out of the Merkur and 3 If I pushed it. Definitely a great shave.

I wish there were shaving cream samplers like they have with blades. I've tried a hand full and so far CASTLE FORBES is my favorite. It's on the pricy side but I think it's worth it.

as for blades, +1 on Feather.

I'm surely not the only one that goes to the barber for a traditional hot flannel shave.
Very cathartic!

I've had a few, and I'm always nervous having someone hold something soooo sharp so close to my neck.

It's a great time to take mental inventory of any gambling debts you may have before laying back.
