So, what's this thing really capable of without touching the motor?

High 8's @ 155-160mph? I'm assuming it's being held back considerably in the lower gears to be able to get off the line so well.

No idea, but modifications on turbocharged vehicles yield good results, but I'm not sure how much GM maxed out on this vehicle. I hear they are coming out with another Z06 variant, which is scheduled to be unveiled to the public on the 17th of this month, and then folks are still anticipating the release of a Zora hybrid AWD model. Not sure what's going to happen.

The ZR1 is a great hypercar out of the box. The turbos muffle the engine and exhaust note some, but it makes up for it by being an extra powerful machine.

Other than that, I think it can be a fair performance value at the right spec and options (price point). The IS500 is another gem that is of higher quality and has a great V8 that will likely be discontinued soon.

I had a '22 Mustang GT Premium with 6MT, and it was a fairly good car aside from the "quality" aspect as far as the plastics in the car, plus that 6MT originates from China (no offense)—the 6MT Tremec in the Dark Horse is of better quality.
Watch some of the race vids online with the Darkhorse. Car is a turd.

Better off getting a regular GT and modding it

I had a regular 2022 GT premium 6-speed manual for that transmission originates from lesser quality for whatever that means and the tremec transmission in the dark horse is supposed to be superior. The GT is a great car and a great value though. I'm trying to restrain myself on the modding game like I used to play.
