A fair number of adjustment layers playing with curves and levels, to get the white to pop.

Making me blush lol.
I have a pretty set work flow, and usually know what I want a photo to look like before I even start editing, usually that comes even before I shoot the car. So that's what I go for haha.

haha that's awesome man! A lot of my photo editing goes towards portraiture work so my knowledge in photo editing for automobiles is really limited. Did you teach yourself through like trial and error your photo editing technique?

Thanks man, but I am completely and totally self taught, a few tips here and there from a few friends, but it's really just years of hard work, and trial and error.

So it's been a really long time since I took some real photos. Here are some from my first time in Pittsburgh tonight.

Do you tend to shoot in late evenings/overcast days? Seems that cars get a lot more depth when it's overcast.
Are you mostly shooting from a tripod with longer exposures? |

I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I used a tripod or did an exposure longer than 1/15th of a second. You can view the EXIF on all of my photos if you're interested in what settings I use.
