My staggered winter setup just arrived this week.
VMR VB3 19x8.5 (ET40) with Blizzak LM-60 235/35/19 (Front) VMR VB3 19x9.5 (ET22) with Blizzak LM-60 255/35/19 (Rear) I plan on using 15mm spacers on the front to approximate the OEM wheel offset. Now I just need my car to hurry up and get here! |

Nice wheels but VMR wheels for the winter is not a smart choice given that they are gravity cast...

Those symptoms get exacerbated in cold weather. You should be looking at something thats either pressure cast or shot peened. |

I wasn't aware of that, but to be honest I'm not overly concerned as I don't plan on driving the 1M a lot during winter. Just an occasional drive on weekends. Keeping the 335xi for daily driving (which I think also has gravity cast winter wheels). Will report back if I encounter any problems with this setup.
