BMW UAE is raping us with the new M3 price!
when i first bought my E46 M3, i bought it for 220,000 dirhams, that's $59k fully loaded, which was ok with me, more than the U.S but still reasonably cheap for this part of the world. Today, i went to the same dealer to inquire about the new M3 and i got a smack in the face(not literally), the new M3 is expected to cost 355,000 dirhams, that's a WHOPPING $96000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when it's released this coming November, WTF????????? ....i'm shocked beyond belief!!!!
that's M5 territory, considering i got my E60 M5(which i still own) for $108k! isn't the point of the M3 vs M5 that they're in two different categories with major price gap differences? ...so why would the new M3 cost almost as much as an M5? ....for $10k more i could get an Porsche GT3. i'm just so frustrated and angry at this point i feel like smashing my PC's monitor!!! and this is coming from a loyal BMW customer! i owned 2 E36 M3, E46 M3 and now i have the E60 M5. ...sadly enough i'm still giving them the befit of the doubt till i walk into the dealer and see the 355k ($96k) price tag with my own eyes! i guess i'll be keeping my E60 M5 for a very very very long time since i was planning to replace it with the new M3. marwan, |

they always rape us in price here, it used to be reasonable raping, but now it's way over the top.
i recently bought the new 2007 X5 (used at 3000km only, got super excellent deal in exchange for my lousy Audi Q7) the thing is, I've always had this emotional attachment with the M3 since I've driven 2 generations of the M3s, but the new one price is way out of range, the pricing just doesn't make sense at all! i wanted a coupe since i already have the X5, but thanks BMW, you have just shattered my dreams! the M5 is a keeper! Seriously, dont worry about it for 3 reasons:
1. Your fuel costs nothing compared to UK. 2. You have virtually no taxation on income. 3. Your car will still be cheaper to purchase. |

1. Fuel has increased 30% in the past year (how ironic since we export petrol) 2. We have taxes on certain items(imports), but not as bad as in the U.K. i go to London frequently, so i know what it's like there. 3. How so? the M3 here cost the same as it does in the U.K. |

Here in SA M3 base price but so basic $93 000.00 US and to make it decent $105 000.00 US, but Gt-3 would be way way more. USA prices best in the world.... US people are just plain lucky |

Most residents in the UK who would buy an M3 will be losing at least 35% of their total income in taxes. Then, when we buy the car we pay 17.5% over the basic price for tax. Our fuel has about 80% tax in the price so 1 litre costs about £1 = $2 = 7 Dirhams. That's how you have it a little better. But yes, if the car is 355000 Dirhams you are not getting any more or less raped than if you were in the UK - providing that you get the same spec base model. In the UK, that's £50625. |

Hey Marwan, I feel your pain my friend. I asked about the M3 pricing in kuwait. The car with basic options was priced at 25,000 Kuwaiti Dinars. Thats about $90,000

How many M3's are destined for the UAE compared to previous years.
This must be a result of lower supply IMO

Or US$253,000 for the E60 M5 and US$314,000 for the GT3 Cars here are probably the most expensive in the world due to import duties  |

yah the fuel part is not an issue, it's just weird that they increased fuel prices here. and btw, i owned 2 E36 M3s in the U.S, awhile the E46 M3 in the UAE....all of them were reasonably priced. anyways, im not a fan of manual tranny like i used to be, so i'm still interested to see how much the new DCT would cost.....i hope the price goes does down after 2 years, since that's when i was planning on getting the M3, after all the bugs an problems are fixed. |

M3 in saudi arabia costs 300,000-320,000 Riyals fully speced...Which is 80-85thousand US dollars..The first shipment arrives october 8.The e46 usually cost 270,000 which is around 13 thousand dollars less. White exterior costs 2800 dollars more than any other color in saudi arabia now thats a rip off for nothing Waiting for DCT and better interior options like HUD and The active seats.

At least you have your pricing and don't have to wait 6+ more months for delivery...
