i still think the Spurs has a good shot. no one is talking about them but watchout when the playoff starts.. they are probably the only team that doesnt need home court advantage through the playoff to win it all. they play well when they are not the focus and the new addition of Kurt Thomas is going to help them alot.
West is very wide open though so it's very hard to say - lakers are now a contender, which they haven't been since Shaq left town. i dont know if they can win this year but they certainly will have great chance for the forseeable future as most of their top players are so young still. East is piece of cake cuz everyone sux. Celts or Pistons. Lebron is great but his team is not. |

late run in the season, last slot in the playoff picture right now. Team needs to work together and distribute the ball around more.

The way he was talking sounded very promising. I don't even watch basketball, but it was getting me excited about their chances. |

Someone in the rockets organization probly paid matt to say that. we all know everyone one want to be the go to guy, but this is a game where you cannot depend on one such person as you have to adjust to what the defense is doing and so you have to spread the ball around.

Sorry guys but the deal the Cavs just made thrusts them right up into the thick of it.....
Ben Wallace and Wally Sczcerbiak and 2 others to Cavs. A 3 team trade involving the Cavs, Bulls, and Sonics. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3257159 Just sticking Wallace with Lebron is a great matchup, let alone throwing in a guy that can make it rain from anywhere around the arc. Teams can hardly handle just Lebron, now adding 2 guys that can add their own terror, oh man. So excited.

The Rockets, Suns, and Pistons aren't doing that great in the Playoffs so far.
