Mine had some issue. Not really a huge problem honestly. I would rather leave it. My local dealer would likely be able to offer an exchange for it, but that's just opening it up for a whole can of worms for rattles down the road. Pulling out a dashboard isn't a small job, and it's one of those things that's best left untouched unless something is grossly off

I would also suggest that BMW do not guarantee that the stitching will be mm perfect.
You see it lots of times on forums with things like seat issues (eg creases in side bolsters), creases in dash leather etc. Not just with BMW - but every forum I've been on. Usually, the factory reply is that it's normal and not covered under warranty. |

If that bothers you, you’ll have a hard time looking at your car in the future. Scratches rock chips etc. it’s hard to keep a car in perfect condition. After a few months you’ll get used to it and accept it.
I’d just try to go for the cash compensation option. |
