Personally, I would not do PPF on the entire car with an M5. The car is not expensive enough to deserve that level of protection. When I got my F90, I had PPF applied to the front end of the car. Hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors. Then my installer did Modesta coating over the entire car, including the wheels.
When I got my 2023 Audi R8, I did have the entire car wrapped in PPF. But this car was twice the price of an M5 and I intend to keep the R8 forever, so spending the money on full PPF was justified in that case. |

I don’t anticipate swirls /holograms on the paint as my cars are stored in my garage when not in use and are only ever hand-washed. Not a huge fan of chips, of the paint damage variety, as you might imagine!

Paint correction and ceramic coat it, the. I would consider PPFing the front and hood as those are the high impact areas. Depending upon the quality of the OEM paint correction could be skipped |

Full PPF and Ceramic offers the utimate mix of protection and ease of maintenance. I have always felt this is very much dependent on the type of owner you are as well as the time you plan to keep the car.
My current F90 M5C is my 6th M5 and all have had some variation of PPF - Ceramic … some ceramic only, others PPF in certain areas + Ceramic and the current is Full PPF + Ceramic (interior, full exterior, wheels etc). Below is the build thread that has details on PPF, Ceramic, Exoshield etc. In case it is helpful. This car is not daily driven and I plan to keep it for a long time and that certainly played into the equation. https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1914416

For Car Pro which mine is coated in I use a Reset shampoo (foam gun) every 2 months and a Reload spray the same. I alternate them. For weekly wash car gets foamed with Hydro shampoo and sits then mitted and rinsed with spot free water. Keeps the ceramic coating in good shape. Mine is coming up on 3 years and it’s still great
