Vernasca Leather, Long Term Wear and Tear?

How is this leather holding up past the 5 yr mark?

Especially compared to Dakota.

Vernasca is tough as nails. It's got a thick coating on it, it holds up well. My 2021 interior looks new.

Any particular care requirements? I assume it doesn’t need conditioning due to its thick coating. I want it to last on my M340i.

On my old Subaru, the rubbing from getting in/out of the seat wore the leather out very quickly.

Mocha Vernasca here in a 2018 G01 X3 with 91k miles. It holds up well. Tough as nails. Looks good. Develops a bit of a patina. No cracks, splits or tears. Maintained with a cotton terry cloth dampened with tap water, no cleaning products.

It's coated leather like 95% of automotive leather. The coating is urethane which you can treat with a vinyl cleaner/conditioner.
