Disappointed to hear that but will still make it a point to see...because, well because. It's a shame because the 1966 movie, Grand Prix, got an Oscar for it's sound track.

I see there is a forecast predicting a 5% chance of rain in Montreal during the race. Even a drying track from overnight rain could make this race a bit of a lottery.

When should we expect F1 to incorporate a 'playoff' series like Nascar or simply have the ability to change the conditions of the track based on a roll of the dice before the race. The way F1 is going, it would not surprise me at all that they would bring is water trucks for a determined 'wet' race.
