You sound like me. I taught myself calculus (starting with teaching myself, or rather relearning, basic arithmetic though algebra) when I was 18 just to see if I could figure it out on my own since I never went to college. I did (got up to a little past calc 2), and then realized how stupid/bored I was. Never again unless my life depended on it.

The only excuse I have is that I was bored as hell.

Long story short. My Mom called me and told me she was sending one of my Christmas presents already. Told me not to open it until Christmas. Today I get home from work and there's an open package laying on the living room floor. I go to move it out of the middle of the floor and realize it's one of the things I texted my Mom that I wanted for Christmas. I read address on the box and yup it has my name on it. MY ROOMMATE HAD OPENED IT AND UN PACKAGED IT I picked it up and put it in my room, my roommate comes home and I tell her never to touch or open anything thats addressed to me again. "Oh Im sorry I didnt know your Mom sent that to you and wanted it to be a suprise." Was her reaction and I told her to leave me alone.... Am I in the wrong??
