thats crazy, i remember the thing was supposed to touch down at my current gf's school 15 miles away and instead it hit mine, and we were supposed to leave at 1 and were all starting to walk out and the principle came running down the hallway screaming "get down its about to hit" and we all dove back down and BOOM the roof starting pulling off and debris hitting me the whole time...i actually did a live iview over the phone with paula zohn(sp?) of CNN that day, cant find the text scripts they used to be online of what i said

I live in IL too, about 3 hours west of chitown, its been raining here none stop for the like week. And from sunday to next saturday its not suppose to stop....I hate IL

Not really, I mean it is a thunderstorm thread. I used to chase storms for photography when I had my truck. No tornadoes out here, but still some fun stuff. Laptop + mobile broadband = good to go in most places. VZW 1x was fast enough to update the radar and pretty reliable. I wouldn't want to chase in my bimmer, not so good for driving in hail and debris lol

the teacher sitting down in front of me was just out of college so about 24 and she was on the phone with her dad right before and when she went to go put her phone back inside her classroom she pulled the door open and it pulled itself shut and she tried again and it did it again, when i seen that i knew it was about to hit and noone really knew it but me, and i looked out the giant plexiglass door and it instantly turned black and a red truck flew bye and BOOM

Girl 100 feet from me lost her leg, brother got hit in the head with a cinderblock and needed stitches,man in a brand new merc SUV pulled up and threw kids bleeding in his car including my brother bc the ambulances couldnt get down to the school right away because of cars, debris, and trees in the road

I believe it was an EF-3 which is between an old F3and F4, a car was upside down next to the weight room door, and rail which was the width of a car so parked perfectly upside down, friend of mines truck was on top of a house
