What happens when the flash drive is full, will it start overwriting
the earliest recordings? Although am I right that constant recording isn’t available on UK cars? Collected mine on Tuesday and dealer said it wasn’t. Last edited by Tbkbabab; 02-29-2024 at 02:48 AM.. |

I have tried it and you can record all the journey onto usb stick but you have to have the app open all the time. I presume you are on iD9 so I don’t know if it’s the same as iD8.

When I tested it yesterday on ID9, I didn't need to leave the Drive Recorder app showing all the time. I was able to view the map and left-hand widgets such as media normally.

I haven’t tried it for a good while, it maybe different on iD9 or the OTA update has made that possible on iD8, I will have to give it a try.
