I try my best with my car. Throughout 4 years of ownership with the 1er being my DD, I've accumulated 3 dings. One on each door, and one on the front right fender directly above the center of the wheel. The fender one is nearly invisible unless you look at the right angle but the door ones piss me off. I always park out in East Jabip OR next to other nice/shiny cars, seems to work.

Those dings can be fixed. You shouldn't have to live with them. PDR is pretty cheap and good
