HAHAHA... sorry. I kid. I have mad respect for musicians - especially people who can do strings. I was a woodwind back in the day, but don't play anymore because... well... I graduated. heh. You have a genre you specialize in - or a particular instrument?
Jazz/experimental mostly, but still love the rock on which I was raised. I play double cello quite a bit. It's a stand up bass, but tuned like a cello, one octave lower. That low C string really shakes the place up! Also play guitar (of course), bass guitar (love a fretless) and a little mandolin.

Not my day job, so I can play whatever I like for whomever I like. Nice to have the freedom. Playing next month with some old friends, one from Chicago, the other from San Francisco. Really looking forward to it.

This is awesome. I was a concert pianist (guild competitions and performances) during my early stages, for about 10 years. I didn't pursue it after a while, but it was such a cool experience. Definitely one of those things you take for granted after it becomes such a regular part of your life, and you are still young.

It's legal in some states, illegal in others, and apparently frowned upon in all of them regardless of legality. Flashing for reasons besides police seems to be OK.

It's a really versatile tool to have though. I use mine to tell people that they can merge, that their headlights are off, cop ahead, animal ahead, wreck ahead, go ahead at a stop sign or parking lot, etc.

Shenanigans. No good deed goes unpunished.

Screw that.

I'll happily drive around with my high beams on, on purpose to confuse everyone on this thread.

This. Actually happened in my area and I have been hesitant to do it ever since.

Well I am from CA, which means I can 1/2 legally own a gun, which I may or may not, but I'm pretty sure I would go to jail for shooting someone in self defense in this hippie state
