@abirmaher did you have the option of any of the custom colors, I seen that as $3k option but unclear on what colors it covers?

Went black sapphire myself which is the typical 650. But I’m going to ask what they see in the system tomorrow and I’ll report back.

For those wondering prices of some packages and options:

Driving Assistance Professioanl Package: $1700
M Sport Professional Package: $1500
Premium Package: $2800
Remote start: $300
20 inch 872M Wheels: $600
Heated front seats and steering wheel: $650

You can go individual on the colors. Price I was told was 3-5k but they pretty much wouldn’t know the price until later in the order process. They did provide me this link to visualize and choose between a different individual color options. Hope this helps.

Are Active Seats now included in one of the packages you mentioned? if not, definitely get it for $450.(what I paid in April for that option on my X1) It is the *only* option that I really enjoy whenever I drive my X1. Nothing like a nice massage.

After 2 months and almost 2000 miles, I finally did a full throttle 0-60mph run in my X1 with M Sport and paddle shifters. Did several runs on an empty stretch of the interstate. I consistently got under 6 seconds.(usually 5.6 to 5.8) That's almost a second faster than what BMW specs showed. I assume that the X1 M35i will easily do 0-60mph in 4 and half seconds or even faster.

Didn’t see an active seat option. But I opted for sport seats which I assume would remove that function, if it is offered generally. Not too sure.

when I ordered my X1, I ordered it with the M Sport package, which included the sport seats(not the better sport seats on the M35i, of course)... then I added the Active Seats(with Massaging Seats included) options to it for $450.

I wonder if anyone can clarify this... does the M35i sport seats come with Active Seats already?(either just the lumbar support or along with seat massaging function)

My BMW CA is on vacation until next week. My grandfather wants to order the M35i, after having driven my X1 several times on long trips. He would not order the M35i if it cannot come with massaging seats like on my X1. When I called the dealership, they wanted me to speak to another salesperson, but I'd rather wait for my own CA to return next week.

According to the pricing/ordering guides, the Active lumbar front seats appears to be a stand alone option (455) for $450. Cannot be ordered with (711) M Sport seats for driver and front passenger

I'm kinda wondering about this myself. I've ordered the M35 with the M Sport pro package, but that removes regular sport seats, making active lumbar no longer an option. I really want the massaging seats, so I think I may have to remove the M Sport pro package which contains things I couldn't care less about so I can go with the active lumbar seats.

I wish there was some information out about the seats. I'm not taking an SUV to the track so what use could I have for sport pro seats with a little plastic M logo when I could have massage instead?

Essentially all you wouldn’t be able to get is the brakes with red calipers.

Everything else you can get via the shadow line package and upgraded brakes as stand alone option if you don’t care for the seats and then you can get the active seats I would assume.

The b48 engine in this has same torque as the base 28i engine. And it apparently will use the same transmission dct. Will it have the same laggy issues stop and start when you are in personal mode?
