Yokohama Tyre Sale

A friend let me know that Yokohama are having a sale on all of their tyres (excluding motorsport). It's a 3 for 1 sale so you get the cheapest of the set of 4 for free. He called up a tyre place in Wetherill Park and is able to get a set of AD08Rs in 265/35/18 and 225/40/18 for about $1060 which is a pretty epic deal. If you're interested, please let me know and if we get a few maybe we can negotiate an even better deal.

I'll be getting a set of 265/35/18s and 235/40/18s.

For the guys out if state I'll see if they are able to supply and ship but yeah, best to ask around local shops first. The $1060 price was without any type of group buy price. Just a good deal with the discount.

I will try around the brisbane area also but if they ship its still a massive saving lol will have to sell my new set of PSS if this is the case havent gone on the car yet.

Anyone in brisbane i will try and see how we go.

The offer is valid until July 31 at participating Tyres & More stores, Bob Jane T-Marts and selected Yokohama Dealers, so no big rush to get them - although, only while stock lasts.
Here's the participating store list.

Is that price fitted & balanced? If so, great deal! The 3-for-1 offer based on RRP would be $1301 (467x2 + 367x1) or $1251 if you have two people that want those sizes, so you could save $190-$240!
Otherwise, 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 would be RRP $1306 (467x2 + 372x1) or $1259 for two people. Any better deal would be great! And probably still at least $200 cheaper.

Courier costs and fitting/balancing costs should be about the same so the price to get tyres delivered should be the same as buying them in store but you'd have to pay for fitting/balancing at your end. If your local tyre shop won't match the deal then you'd still save at least $100 by getting it couriered and fitted independently.

Yeah as far as I know that price is fitted and balanced. My friend will be calling the Tyres & More store in Wetherill Park to confirm the price today or tomorrow and we're going to go ahead with the purchase.

Most likely for the interstate guys it will be best just to source locally but I'll try and ask how much shipping costs anyway.

FYI, my mate called up and he said that the prices for the tyres were $310 for 225, $330 for 235 and $390 for 265s. This is in 18" sizes btw. However, apparently Yokohama are all out of the stock for 235s due to the high demand coming up to the WTAC. On back order until the end of July apparently.

Loving my new AD08Rs. Ended up getting 2 sets. One for the vert too.
