Ex Demo Offered allready

Going to have a look on sunday at an M4.
The dealer told me i cant put a deposit on it if i like it and they will hand it over to me in 3 months.they need it till then for demo.
Well i never had an offer as such....
Never bought an ex demo or new car for that matter.
Would you go for one similar or they get trashed a lot during testdrives..?

I'm betting it'll get trashed here and there for sure. What kind of discount are you getting?

Yeah it'll get driven harder than I would feel comfortable with especially before it's properly broken in. You could just order a new one the way you want and have it in the same amount of time.

Even if it had just a couple hundred miles in it, you'd have to knock $10k off a demo for me to even begin the discussion of purchasing.

I ordered my new M4 from a pre-order from dealer for his wife!! Was able to change all spec as the car had not quite gone into production.

Why waste the next 3 month worrying about this car. Its going to be treated like a hooker on payday for the next 3 months. Just order a new car and get it at the same time.

Yes, unless the price is too good to pass up. (on the car! the price on the car!)

For a car like this, I wouldn't buy a demo. It does depend on the dealer though because the dealer I test drove an M3 with told me not to go above 5K RPM so SOME dealers do care about the car's wellbeing.

That car has probably been raped. At least the one i test drove i red-lined it multiple times.
