Ex Demo Offered allready
Going to have a look on sunday at an M4.
The dealer told me i cant put a deposit on it if i like it and they will hand it over to me in 3 months.they need it till then for demo. Well i never had an offer as such.... Never bought an ex demo or new car for that matter. Would you go for one similar or they get trashed a lot during testdrives..? |

Given the way I drove the one I tested on Saturday, I probably wouldn't.....

Yeah it'll get driven harder than I would feel comfortable with especially before it's properly broken in. You could just order a new one the way you want and have it in the same amount of time.

Why waste the next 3 month worrying about this car. Its going to be treated like a hooker on payday for the next 3 months. Just order a new car and get it at the same time.

Yes, unless the price is too good to pass up. (on the car! the price on the car!)

For a car like this, I wouldn't buy a demo. It does depend on the dealer though because the dealer I test drove an M3 with told me not to go above 5K RPM so SOME dealers do care about the car's wellbeing.
