I take it Burger has control over the fueling...especially with how much more fuel is required when running on E85. E85 was fun to play with on my GT-R, the turbos spooled so much quicker. You can see the same with the peak torque figures on the dyno graph. Pretty cool, but E85 has its problems too (corrosive, terrible mileage and doesn't like sitting for too long).

Zero interest in an E85 car. Such a pain in the ass in every way. And if these cars are so locked up, like the M5, how is tuning for E85 going to be done safely?

Eh I mean if you ran a couple cycles of 93 through and took of the piggyback I doubt they'd get yah, even with a catastrophic failure. I also trust Terry to keep us within the limits of the car... Granted their is a first time for everything where we have mass failures.

I just have to wonder how the stock fuel system is going to handle the fueling requirements of E85. Direct injection engines already run pretty high flowing pumps and injectors....but the fuel requirement is so much more. I wouldn't want to be the guinea pig on this set up.... |

same thing I worry about if the base piggyback gets me back near an m5 I'll be fine till we can see how everyone else does... I might try meth if thats an option... But lets also remember Terry's data doesn't include intake, exhaust, dp's which combined should net some nice games [probably not like e85 but still safer]. |
